The Importance of Compression Garments After Plastic Surgery

Post-OP Kompressionsanzug – Ganzkörper-Kompression nach plastischer Chirurgie

The correct postoperative compression garments are a central component of the healing phase after plastic surgery procedures. They not only support comfort in the first few weeks after the operation but also contribute significantly to optimal shaping, swelling reduction, and tissue stabilization.

After procedures such as liposuction, tummy tucks, arm lifts, or other body contouring operations, compression garments help to uniformly support the treated tissue and stabilize the skin contour. At the same time, they can reduce swelling, support blood circulation, and improve postoperative well-being.

After breast operations – such as breast augmentation, breast reduction, or breast lift – we recommend consistently wearing a special support bra for at least 6 weeks. This supports the healing phase, stabilizes the tissue, and helps to optimally maintain the desired shape.

After body lifts and liposuctions, compression garments should generally be worn day and night for the first 6 weeks. Afterwards, we recommend wearing them for approximately 12 hours a day for another 6 weeks, depending on the healing process and the individual procedure.

For optimal results, choosing high-quality, correctly fitting compression garments is crucial. Our selected postoperative products combine medical functionality with high wearing comfort and elegant design.
